Let's talk about sex baby

It's your best girlfriend's wedding anniversary. Or a birthday. So you want to get her a dildo as a joke. Or you just simply wish to spicy up your sex life. Or you are single and bored. So you want to buy a sex toy.
Whatever the reasons are they are all valid, innocent, playful, and harmless. And yet, some countries banned porn and sex toys.
Recently I found out there is only one sex shop in Kathmandu, in fact in whole of Nepal. And then my further research showed that buying or selling sex toys- or porn movies- are banned in India! Seriously? So half of your population are horny men masturbating on women on the buses, wanking their dicks at every single opportunity, but you ban the porn? As if that would make all the issues to disappear. My humble opinion is that pornographic images would help people to let the steam off, and certainly not make them run to the street and rape the first girl.

Let's compare sex to drugs. Drugs are addictive. So can sex be. True. Drugs can help your mind to achieve states of euphoria, happiness, etc. So can sex. True. Drugs can kill you. Well, so does sex; there were instances when one got a heart attack from making love.. not to mention STDs. And yet, if you compare it statistically; tell me how many people have died from sex (AIDS is questionable since often it's a cause of drug use), and how many from overdose? How many people get addicted to drugs each year? And how many sex addicts you got? From whichever side you tackle the problem, sex just isn't such an issue as drugs are. However, India thinks it is. I bet it is easier to buy morphine or codeine from the Indian pharmacy (OK, these are not banned in all Western countries, but still...) than porn dvds or magazines, or dildos.
Moreover, sex education simply doesn't exist in India. You have the biggest problem with assaults and sexual harassment on women and yet you do not educate your men how to tackle their sexuality? You separate girls and boys in the schools, teach them children could be conceived only in the marriage and not explain the natural sexual urges of the adolescent kids? They are going to explore those urges whether you like it or not. However, they will also act on them since they do not know what is good and what not. Well, no one thought them. (But then, lot of American states has got the same problem. Teenage girls returning home pregnant, not even knowing how the hell that happened. I guess we just hear more about their stories than about pregnant Indian teenagers. On the other hand, teenage pregnancy is normal here since people wed very young.)

India is facing the problem with decrease of tourists; especially of the females. Interestingly, outside of India many girls – and guys too- who have never been to India, ask me if it would be safe place for women. I have to stress that reasonable precautions must be taken everywhere, no matter what the country is. However, it is true India has a reputation of a more dangerous country, and sadly, it is justified...indeed, the sexual harassment occurs there more frequently.
I don't think there is anything bad with sex toys. I don't think there is anything bad with enjoying sex. I don't think there is anything bad with drugs, as long as you are a strong individual and could handle it. Otherwise, it doesn't matter what you do; you might as well get addicted to sugar, eating, shopping, Facebook... you name it. We can ban everything we could think of, and yet there would still be some sort of addiction. It all comes down to a society. To what young people see as examples, what they believe they should live up to. What they should become, what are they expected to be, to think, to look like, to like...

Anyway, let's get back to my initial concern. You want to change a nation of excessively horny males who don't get enough of women? Educate them! Give them sex toys! Give them porn! Give their wifes dildos, so they could actually enjoy sex and satisfy their men more often, so these do not have to masturbate on public buses. Don't preach water if the wine gives you better feelings... Don't try to stop sex, try to rectify it. One last thing... when the government allowed smoking weed in Amsterdam, or some of the American states, suddenly people weren't so greedy to get it. Prohibited fruit simply tastes the best. Allow it, and people would loose the interest.
